We hope you are hungry…we’ll be having brats\, burgers and pulled pork! Sides will include German potato salad\, beans\, kraut and more! DESCRIPTION:The Plymouth Advancement Association is hosting the second annual Fallooza Fall Festival to raise funds for 3 local mental health and addiction recovery organizations.  Join us for a fun free\, family-friendly festival on Mill Street in downtown Plymouth.  From 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. the street will be open exclusively to foot traffic.  Enjoy a variety of vendors including seasonal items\, arts\, crafts\, a downtown business sidewalk sale\, a food truck court (over 15 vendors – remember to skip breakfast) and musical entertainment.  The Plymouth Library will host a suncatcher and rock paintng activity for children.  The Plymouth Arts Center will host a community craft.  In conjunction with Fallooza\, we are adding a “Side of Kraut” at the Plymouth Historical Museum where they will celebrate German Heritage at the Bade Barn with special music by the Carl Laack Band.  Annie Vander will perform from 10:30 to 12:30. The main event day will be Saturday\, June 24\, but there will be some activities on Friday\, June 23 with cheese activities happening throughout Plymouth the week leading up to the event. \nThe Cheese Capital Festival is a throwback to the Cheese Derby Days from years past and celebrates Plymouth’s heritage of cheese. Saturday will kick-off with a parade through Downtown’s Mill Street at 10:00 am\, where all floats will have a cheese theme. Interested in participating in the parade? It’s a rare opportunity to meet artists in their studios\, as some of the private studios are only open to the public during this once-a-year special event. Admission is free courtesy of our generous sponsors! Tour hours on Friday are 10 am to 6 pm and Saturday from 10 am to 5 pm. DESCRIPTION:Memorial Day Parade/ Program: Hosted by the “World’s Cheese Center VFW Post 5612.” \n\nThe route will follow Mill Street from Caroline Street to North Street and end at the Union Cemetery. (In case of rain the ceremony will take place at the Riverview Middle School Auditorium.)  This years’ guest speaker is VFW Past Department (State) Commander – Michael “Gunner” Furgal. Poppy princess is Sydney Arndt. Parade participants are required to register at elizabethenockson@gmail.com.  After the ceremony we ask you to please stop by P.J. Campell’s “The Depot” in support of Ladwig-Zinkgraf American Legion Post 243\, Plymouth\, for their Brat fry. (10:30 am- 2:00 pm). All funds go to Veteran programs! SUMMARY:45th Annual Classic Race of Champions Snowmobile Races
DESCRIPTION:The 45th Annual Budweiser Classic Race of Champions will showcase high flying snowmobile racing featuring the Midwest Snocross Series on Saturday February 11th and Sunday February 12th in Plymouth\, WI! Admission is $15 per day or $25 for a weekend pass. Kids ages 12 and younger who are not racing are free if accompanied by an adult. Tickets will be available to purchase at the gate. The event will be located at our facility known as Ranger Park which is located at the intersection of Hwy 57 and County Road C just on the Eastern outskirts of Plymouth\, WI. There will be a heated building for concessions and to warm up during the event. Heated bathrooms are available for women. Practice on both Saturday and Sunday will begin at approximately 8:30am. Racing will begin at the conclusion of practice and track grooming. Typically\, in past years\, racing on Saturday starts around 10am and finishes around 4pm where Sunday usually starts around 9:30am and goes until 3pm. These times can vary depending on the number of entries. Saturday Night Band: We will be hosting Nitro Five from 5pm to 9pm in our heated building on Saturday night. To check them out and what they play visit their website at www.nitrofiveband.com. The intention is to again make the entire track out of man made snow. If the weather allows\, we have taken steps to hopefully make the track larger. SUMMARY:Sartori Big Cheese Drop
DESCRIPTION:The annual Sartori Big Cheese Drop is nationally lauded as one of the country’s quirkiest New Year’s Eve traditions. This year marks our 16th annual event as we celebrate Plymouth\, WI\, the official Cheese Capital of the World. Over the past 15 years\, the event has drawn thousands as the community comes together to welcome the new year. The highlight of the event is marked by a countdown and the lowering of a giant wedge of Sartori’s world award-winning BellaVitano® Gold Cheese at 10pm. Gift bags of Sartori Cheese will be distributed to the first 250 families in attendance. The event is sponsored by the Sartori Company. \nThe festivities begin at 8:30pm in the PAC Greatroom with live music by the ever popular 50’s-60’s Tribute Band\, II Cool!. There will be a cheese tasting table and a cash bar. Enjoy complimentary hot cocoa and warm up at the bonfire from 8:30 to 10pm. As this is a family-friendly event\, the Big Cheese Drop will be held at 10 PM. Bring your party noisemakers and cheese hats! After the Big Cheese Drop\, music and dancing will continue through Midnight. A complimentary champagne toast will be served at midnight!
