MotoAmerica Superbike Series & Vintage Motofest
May 29 - May 31
The fast and flowing 4-mile natural road course at Road America will serve as the theater of war as the MotoAmerica Series comes to Road America. One of the most exciting and challenging tracks on the MotoAmerica (AMA/FIM) calendar, this annual two-wheel celebration draws huge crowds for a weekend full of racing. Fan activities include on-site camping and open karting. In addition to the racing action, fans with motorcycles are encouraged to pre-register for a unique ‘Salute to Cycles’ on-track Parade Lap Experience. The Salute to Cycles provides participants with the rare chance to ride the Road America circuit and develop a true appreciation for the undulating road course where pro racers battle it out for glory and fame. New for 2020 MotoAmerica will host its Mini Cup Series presented by Motul at the CTECH Manufacturing Motorplex, featuring four classes of racing: 110cc (four-speed); 160cc; 190cc (racers aged up to 14 years); and 190 Adult (racers over the age of 15). The motorcycles will be based on spec rules centered around the Ohvale GP-0, a mini road racer that is now ready for the U.S. market after proving to be extremely popular in Europe. In addition, MotoAmerica will be hosting its Heritage Cup events at Road America, featuring1986 and older superbikes, as well as other racing motorcycles, two-stroke or four-stroke, GP or Production machines.
On Saturday, May 30, fans will have the opportunity to experience Vintage MotoFest which includes a ride-in bike show and competition showcasing the greatest in classic style and fresh customization, plus all that is unusual and incredible. If a century’s worth of two-wheel machinery isn’t enough, the day will also showcase an arm-wrestling tournament, craft beer tasting, live bands, and stunt shows.
